Poblano pepper seedlings transplanted to larger peat pots.

Pepper (Poblano)

Got these started a bit late in the spring after looking several places for ready-to-go plants and finding nothing — except of course early June I finally saw some at Home Depot — but now we can just be patient since we have a long growing season or finish in the greenhouse. Sourced seed from Botanical Interests.

  • 7/16/2017 — Transplants doing well after a brief wilty phase.
  • 7/8/2017 — All transplants about 6 inches tall, planting 3 in 7-gallon plant bags and gifted 3 to friends.
  • 6/13/2017 — Transplanted 6 seedlings to larger peat pots.
  • 6/8/2017 — Seedlings are about 1.5 inches tall; have thinned out a few weird ones.
